| While feeling the 'uselessness' of assignments and in a conversation with a classmate, He reminded me: Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. Colossians 3:23-24 - Tags:verses

| The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
-Proverbs 1:7 A familiar verse which I know by heart, yet His Word never fails to refreshes me. What a timely reminder from Him when the boyf and I were reading the bible together this morning. I enjoyed the entire proverb!

| Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.
Philippians 2:14-15 Each day in school is quite a struggle but I'm really thankful for the comfort that He gives from His word. Today God gave me the above verses which shall be the exercise for the coming semester, rest of my life. It ain't easy but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me :)

| For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
I must really thank God for a rather pleasant first day of school. Since I told myself on my twentieth birthday that this year I will learn to love, I will really learn because love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance...love will last forever! (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

| 1“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. 3 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye. 6 “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you. (New Living Translation)
While I am feeling the angst over certain issue, God gave me theses verses as a reminder. Right now, I pray that I will not judge both the issue and the person, and learn to remove the log in my own eye first.

| For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (New King James)

| I was curious (read: kaypoh) and checked out the forums once again. As usual, I'm pretty much disgusted by the contents. There were a lot of defaming, obsession of certain items which people diedie must get and in summary, pretty much a self-centered attitude towards life and things happening around. Then God reminded me:
1 John 2: 15-17 15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. (New Living Translation)
The things of this world will all fade away one day, so will LV, Chanel, Prada and Massimo Dutti and whatever pretty stuff that you see out there in blogshops or physical ones. So chill!

Jerimiah 17:7-8 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. | I have a paper to study for and as usual, anxiety creeps in. I prayed before I began studying and was very encouraged when I opened my mailbox and saw this from Bro LKY while taking a break:

| Hebrews 4:14-16 14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
